    • Lump of sugar
    • 2 to 3 Dashes of aromatic bitters
    • Lemon peel

Story

One of the earliest record of the champagne cocktail out of America appears in ‘panama in 1855’, published in New York city the same year, the recipe specifies the use of Mumm champagne

Method

Imbibe sugar cube with bitters place the sugar cube in a champagne flute fill up with Grand Cordon twist a lemon peel over and place it inside

Tip

To bring a touch of complexity, you can add up to 10 ml – 1/3 oz of Martell cognac
