INGREDIENTS
• 100 ml — 4 oz Grand Cordon
• 8 to 10 Mint leaves
• 2 tsp Caster sugar
• 15 ml — 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
• 20 ml — 3/4 oz 3 years old cuban rum
• Mint sprig
Story
When the mojito came back to popularity in the early 2000s, many hotel bars offered this riff on the Cuban classic.
Method
In a highball glass, muddle the mint leaves add all ingredients and fill with crushed ice complete with Grand Cordon garnish with a mint sprig
Tip
To be sure you have enough mint in the drink, be sure to cover the bottom of the glass with mint leaves
